The Project: Nazar and Natasha really need a wardrobe and two new dressers for their 5 foster children.

About the Parents: Nazar and Natasha are a young couple with a big heart for children. This passion far outweighs their inexperience, and they have successfully welcomed especially needy children into their home.  Only one year ago, they started their life as a foster couple, but Natasha has been working with kids since 2009. They are very hospitable and often have guests, particularly neighborhood children who frequently stop by! The Dobroriz family likes to spend evenings together at the dinner table, playing board games and watching movies and cartoons. They often bond over a basketball game or a picnic. Their kids are very active and it’s clear they have a lot of fun together.

About the Children: The youngest of the Dobroriz foster children are Stasik (6) and Danik (9). Stasik and Danik are brothers who were removed from a very abusive home. Their biological mother just died a month ago due to drug-related issues.

Fourteen-year-old Angela also has a sad history. Locked in her room most of the time, Angela lived in a perpetual state of distress because the family was always quarrelling and getting into drunken brawls. Angela was often on the receiving end of hurtful words. Doctors have diagnosed Angela with a growth disorder due to this subjection to extreme stress. Before coming to live with the Dobroriz’s, she had simply stopped growing. Now she is receiving special treatments and living with a loving family, and miraculously, Angela has started to grow again both physically but also emotionally and spiritually!

Living with Nazar and Natasha has turned the lives of these children around. Although it is only a temporary situation, one of the Dobroriz’s major goals as foster parents is to prepare children like Stasik, Danik, and Angela for adoption by giving them the experience of living in a healthy family!
