Repairs to the Isaev family home

Repairs to the Isaev family home

The Isaev family lives in the town of Mariupol, Ukraine. They currently have eight adopted and fostered children and two biological children. The Isaevs have a special interest in helping HIV positive children and seven of their adopted children have tested positive for HIV. In fact, the Isaevs made national news for being the first family in the country of Ukraine to adopt an HIV positive child. Most people in Ukraine are very prejudiced and fearful of those with HIV. Through their example, the Isaev family is striving to fight this prejudice.

Project update as of October 2011: All repairs 100% complete!

The Isaev’s kitchen was expanded to TWICE the original size! The outside of the home was also insulated and painted and repairs were made to the roof, so the family will be warm this winter and in years to come -- the whole Isaev family is so thankful for your generosity. We are thrilled to report that eleven-year-old Sasha (who has 4th stage AIDS) is doing really well. She has now outlived doctor’s prognoses by a year! Please continue to pray for her as she fights this battle during the harsh winter months with a weakened immune system.

The Isaev family says THANK YOU!
