Mass media has an amazing ability to affect and change the thinking of a society.  It has potential to be used for bad or for good.

Our partners at Russia Without Orphans want to use television to help change the stigma against orphans in Russia and to encourage people to consider adoption.  Christians in Ukraine have put out a weekly TV show on adoption for the past two years and it has been very effective in changing the mindset of people towards orphans, as well as in finding families for orphans.  Every week after the show airs on Ukraine's Christian TV channel, our Ukrainian partners get dozens of calls from people interested in adopting and fostering!
