Can you imagine wanting a family but running into brick walls at every turn? Mirabela and her husband wanted to adopt and were trying, but they kept encountering complications. Finally they were told, "It is not possible." With nowhere to turn and few resources at their disposal, they nearly gave up.
Then Mirabela heard that one of our partners in Romania was holding a conference about adoption. She went to as many trainings and counseling sessions as possible. Our partners walked Mirabela and her husband through the adoption process and advocated on their behalf to the authorities. Then, in 2017, they welcomed three-year-old Ionut into their family! Praise God with us that not only is Ionut now in a loving, supportive family, Mirabela and her husband were able to fulfill their dream of adopting. Pray that many more orphans in Romania will also find their forever families.
